TRX90X
Start their off-road story off right with the TRX90X. Small but mighty, it’s packed with Honda quality, a no-clutch automatic transmission, and a rider-friendly design that makes it the ideal introduction to adventure. Built just for your little ripper, it’s easy to see why, year after year, the TRX90X roosts every other ATV in its class.

Electric Start

Throttle Limiter
Their first real Honda
The TRX90X is the machine a young rider moves up to when a toy is no longer enough. An 86cc air-cooled four-stroke gives smooth, predictable power instead of a sudden hit, and the four-speed semi-automatic gearbox takes the clutch lever out of the picture altogether, so a new rider can put all of their attention on where they are going. Electric start gets them away without a kick. The throttle carries an adjustable limiter, so the person supervising sets the top speed rather than the rider: start it low while they learn the controls and the ground, then open it up a turn at a time as their confidence catches up. Dual 110mm front drums and a 140mm rear drum pull it up predictably, and at 660mm the seat is low enough for a young rider to get a foot down with confidence. It is small, but everything on it is built to the standard the rest of the Honda range is built to.
Gear up and learn it the right way
A first machine is a great deal more fun when the rider knows what they are doing on it. Honda runs Kids Camps around New Zealand where young riders get time on Honda machines with instructors, proper riding gear and a controlled space to practise in. Your local Honda store can tell you when the next one is running and what your rider needs to bring.

Honda genuine parts, and a store that knows the machine
A youth ATV is rarely finished with one rider. It gets handed down, so it needs to keep going. Honda genuine parts are built to the same specification as the ones fitted on the production line, and every Honda store can service the TRX90X, order parts for it and look it over before the season starts.
